Bro. Denny has been preaching for nearly 20 years and has dedicated the last 15 years to ministry in Arkansas and Kansas, most recently serving as a church planter. Over the years, he has faithfully served in various roles, including music leader, youth director, associate pastor, and senior pastor. His heart for ministry extends beyond the pulpit, as he has also supported numerous small churches through pulpit supply and local missions.
In 2004, Denny married Cathy (Grantham), who grew up attending Pickles Gap. Together, they have a blended family with three children and two grandchildren. Their oldest son, Tony, is married to Amanda, and they are the proud parents of Bruus and Alice. Denny and Cathy’s twins, Caty and Elijah, are currently in college.
Bro. Christian has served as the Music Pastor at Pickles Gap Baptist Church in Conway since March 2024 and recently accepted the position at Student pastor in January 2025. Christian surrendered to the call to ministry in 2020 while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Since then, he has served as a utility musician on various ministry teams across central Arkansas and as the Worship Leader for a Celebrate Recovery Program. Christian met his wife, Madison, in November 2023, and they are now the proud parents of two little boys. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing music, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with anyone who will listen (and sometimes even with those who won’t).
Becky has been with Pickles Gap Baptist Church since 1998 and started her current position in 2007. Her and her husband Billy have been married for over 25 years and have a son Robbie who is married to Brooke (plus two beagle babies, Buck and Ranger) Becky spends her days off reading or camping and in the summer you will find her and her family on the lake.
